Renee’s Impact is a nashville based nonprofit initiative founded by makayla renee’, created to support youth, families and emerging entrepreneurs through meaningful, community-driven experiences.
what began as personal giveback efforts through hair like kayla’s— including prom giveaways and back to school events— grew into a deeper calling to serve the community in a more intentional and impactful way. over the years, these efforts continued to grow through consistency, community support, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
in 2026, makayla officially established renee’s impact to provide a stronger foundation for this work and to expand the reach of these initiatives.
rooted in faith and guided by love, renee’s impact focuses on creating experiences that uplift, empower, and bring people together. through initiatives like the prom queen experience and the back 2 school bash, we are able to provide resources, encouragement, and support while creating moments that leave a lasting impact on the individuals and families we serve.

back 2 school bash
Supporting students for the school year
Our annual back 2 school bash is a community experience that serves over 200 students + families each year, providing backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, and meals to help prepare for the upcoming school year.
in addition to supplies, we connect families with valuable community resources by bringing together local businesses, schools, banks, and educational programs that offer guidance, support and opportunities for students. this includes access to alternative learning resources and programs that help meet students where they are.
we love to create a fun and engaging environment for students and families to enjoy, with activities such as bounce houses, games, music, and interactive stations. each year, we continue to build on the experience by adding new elements, INCLUDING services like hair cuts and manicures, to help students feel confident and prepared as they return to school.
prom queen experience
a fully pampered prom day experience
the prom queen experience is a curated, full-service experience designed to celebrate and uplift graduating female seniors by providing a complete prom-day transformation.
selected participants RECEIVE hair, makeup, nail services, along with a private space to get ready, food, and fully pampered experience that allows them to feel confident, special, and celebrated. this year, we expanded the experience to serve multiple participants, with dedicated locations, community sponsors, and content creators to capture the moment.
this initiative was created to give students an opportunity to experience a level of care and celebration that they may not have otherwise had access to.
community support & mentorship
beyond our signature experiences, renee’s impact is committed to supporting the community through connection, encouragement, and guidance.
we provide one-on-one support, connect individuals to helpful resources, and share knowledge with youth who are interested in entrepreneurship and building something of their own. as we continue to grow, we plan to expand into mentorship OPPORTUNITIES and programs that pour directly into the next generation of leaders.

renee’s impact is made possible through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners who believe in what we’re building. every contribution helps us provide school supplies, experiences, and resources for students and families in our community. when god gives the vision, he provides the provision— and your support is a part of that.
we collaborate with trusted local organizations like state farm, planned parenthood, tcat nashville, and nashville public library to bring valuable resources directly to families.
Each year, we support over 100 students and families by providing essential school supplies, services, and access to resources. your support helps us continue showing up for the families who need it most.
We go beyond basic needs by creating positive, memorable experiences through activities, mentorship, and community engagement. every event is designed to make families feel supported, valued, and encouraged.
